Summary
"Bon Ord loved adventure. Much to his father's displeasure, Bon kept company with some rather disreputable characters. Sheriff John Ord was determined that if he ever caught them with the goods, he would arrest them all--even if his own son was part of the group. When Bon kidnaps Sir Charles Random on a lark, he finds a true friend who will stand by him in the toughest times. Those times come when Bon and Charles arrive home to find one of Bon's friends murdered. Fearing people will accuse him of the murder, Bon immediately leaves to try to track down the killer while sending Charles for help. While a fugitive, he meets a mysterious young woman whom he calls Titania. She believes in his innocence and helps him find clues to the motive behind the murder.
